I hate to say it, but life can be lonesome without a date. Get this, last night I broke my resolution and smoked two packs of cigarettes. During my birthday party while being single, duh! Don’t judge me (j/k!). Does that tell you anything? Well, that’s the moment when I first considered meeting new singles in Dallas or Denver.
No problem. Figured I’d boost my dating life at a matchmaking service like Great Expectations Dallas. That never sounded better. Prolly wouldn’t be an issue, but it is. While eating corn on the cob at Julie’s soccer finals in Denver last week, Mom wanted to know if I’ve bumped into my one and only. I just can’t believe that came up. My response was, “I’m working on it, chill out.”
And of course Gramps continued harping about my companionship situation. I quipped to all of them: “Hey look, what do you know about dating?”
Guess what? They all laughed at me. Quite promptly, I went to the gym so I could clear my head. That didn’t help! I didn’t learn a thing. Doug, who wrote to me from Egypt, offered his opinion that I sign up for Great Expectations. I said, “Yeah, maybe I should.” Should have thought of it myself. I especially enjoy the Denver Singles Events at Great Expectations.
When I started, dating events were a novel thing as I am a simple guy. This was all really foreign to me, and then I started getting butterflies in my stomach. My emotional anxiety couldn’t pull the plug on another incredible Great Expectations event. The evening was bursting with excitement. The truth is I’ll never forget all the honest, desirable singles.
Appearing at these incredibley satisfying Dallas singles events, I bumped into a handful of marvelous guys and gals that must feel the same way I do for how dating should be done. Can’t imagine why I used to let everyone give their two cents about being single. Amazingly enough, dating in Dallas with Great Expectations is my pleasure and like a dream come true.
